Responsibilities

Assist in identifying the individual’s skills, needs and interests. Incorporate individual service plan into daily routine by providing daily support and supervision to the individual according their established support and individualized goals. Follow medication policies and procedures to include: administration, record keeping, identification of medication, purpose and adverse reactions, and self-administration of medication. Link individuals to other support services as needed. Maintains a clean working environment (vehicles, individual housing, etc.).

What advice would you give?

Don't wait until the last minute to apply for internships and look into what you will be doing fully.
