I was responsible for...
I was working very closely with our food and beverage director. I have been tasked with ordering food to be catered for events and also in hotels when needed. I have also worked on booking hotel rooms and transportation from time to time. We host a bunch of events and team building activities that I have helped book and set up. I have gotten a taste of almost everything that has to do with events.

I accomplished...
I was put in charge of my own event and had to schedule all of the food and beverage and entertainment. When it came time for the event to start, everything ran very smooth and all of our advisors were pleased and our founder was satisfied. I felt good because I did everything I was told to do after being nervous for my first time.

I learned...
I think the greatest lesson I have learned is to just stay patient. You will never truly know everything and there is always something you can be better at. Also don't expect your first time to be perfect. there will be some bumps in the road, but just be patient and stick them out.

Advice for others...
Don't be afraid to ask for help. There is somebody that is always willing to help you and offer a helping hand in whatever you are doing. You aren't going to be great at everything or even know how to do somethings, everybody has been there before and you will get better over time.
