The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee of the Department of Food Science and Human nutrition supports the mission and vision of Iowa State University. We champion the notion that inclusion, diversity equity, and access in their many forms, are understood, respected, and valued. We respect and celebrate the unique attributes, characteristics, and perspectives that make each person who they are, because diversity strengthens our Iowa State community. This committee is responsible for education and awareness related to diversity equity, inclusion, and access in the department.
