I will never forget...
There was an electrical fire in the freezer one afternoon. We had to throw away all food in the kitchen, State had to come in and get everything cleaned, and we were out of the kitchen for was quite the adventure! The rest of the summer our freezer and cooler were outside in trucks in the parking lot. One day it was raining so the bottom of my shoes were wet when I got in the freezer truck to get ice cream. My shoes froze to the floor and I was stuck for a little bit!

Advice for others...
Working in a kitchen was a great experience and I learned so much. Take every opportunity to learn something new or gain a unique experience... even if it means doing something you don't think you want to do.
