With just a few steps, you can be considered for the many scholarships available to students in the Food Science and Human Nutrition Department!

Undergraduate Student Scholarships

Please view Food Science and Human Nutrition Department Undergraduate Scholarship Opportunities HERE. The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the College of Health and Human Sciences, and the University each provide additional scholarship opportunities.

Complete ONE application: Apply for university, college, and department scholarships by completing One App. You will be considered for appropriate scholarships based on your application, major*, and college designation.

*Students in joint Bachelor/Master programs should apply based on their classification for the upcoming academic year.
- Ex: Pre-Diet & Exercise students should apply for Undergraduate Scholarships using One App. Diet & Exercise students who have been admitted to the program should apply for graduate scholarships for the next academic year.

Know the deadlines: Students in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition Department are part of two colleges and each college has their own deadlines for scholarship submission. Be sure you know your colleges deadlines: https://www.financialaid.iastate.edu/scholarships/deadlines.

Consider other scholarship opportunities: Many scholarship applications are due in January and February of each year. However, a few are due earlier. Check the following individual websites for specific details:
