College of Human Sciences Undergraduate Convocation

The College of Human Sciences convocation provides special, individual recognition for each graduating CHS undergraduate student who attends. The convocation is a separate event from the Iowa State University Undergraduate Commencement Ceremonies. The convocation will last approximately 90 minutes, and will include comments from a student speaker and Laura Jolly, dean and Dean’s Chair of the college. A reception immediately follows, around 3:30 p.m., in the first floor lobby of the Scheman Building. Undergraduate students, families, and friends are encouraged to attend, as are graduate students. Tickets are not required for admission.
